A Village Doctor Paragraph
A village doctor is known to all in his village. He is not a qualified doctor. Yet he was an important man in the village. He is generally a quack. At first, he works under a qualified doctor in a town. There he learns something about medicine and gains some experience to treat patients. Then he goes to his village and in course of time turns out to be a doctor himself. A village doctor has his own dispensary in the village. He gets up early and prepares for the day’s work. He attends to visit his patients for treatment He also goes out to attend to the patients who cannot come to him. Sometimes he is called in at night. Then he charges a higher fee. But he does not refuse to visit a patient even dead of night A village doctor may not be a good doctor but he has great respect for the profession. He has also a great love and feeling for his patients. Thus he is an important and useful member of the village society.
বাংলা অর্থঃ গ্রামের একজন ডাক্তার তার গ্রামের সবার কাছে পরিচিত। তিনি যোগ্য ডাক্তার নন। তারপরও তিনি গ্রামের একজন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ব্যক্তি। তিনি সাধারণত একজন কুয়াশা। প্রথমে শহরে একজন যোগ্য ডাক্তারের অধীনে কাজ করেন। সেখানে তিনি ওষুধ সম্পর্কে কিছু শেখেন এবং রোগীদের চিকিত্সা করার কিছু অভিজ্ঞতা অর্জন করেন। তারপর সে তার গ্রামে যায় এবং সময়ের সাথে সাথে নিজেই ডাক্তার হয়ে যায়। গ্রামে একজন ডাক্তারের নিজস্ব ডিসপেনসারি আছে। সে তাড়াতাড়ি উঠে সারাদিনের কাজের জন্য প্রস্তুতি নেয়। তিনি চিকিত্সার জন্য তার রোগীদের সাথে দেখা করতে যান যারা তার কাছে আসতে পারেন না এমন রোগীদের দেখাশোনার জন্য তিনি বাইরে যান। মাঝে মাঝে রাতে তাকে ডাকা হয়। তখন সে বেশি পারিশ্রমিক নেয়। কিন্তু রাতের বেলায়ও রোগী দেখতে রাজি হন না একজন গ্রাম্য ডাক্তার ভালো ডাক্তার নাও হতে পারেন কিন্তু পেশার প্রতি তার অনেক শ্রদ্ধা আছে। তিনি তার রোগীদের জন্য একটি মহান ভালবাসা এবং অনুভূতি আছে. তাই তিনি গ্রামের সমাজের একজন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ও দরকারী সদস্য।
