A Street Accident Paragraph
The street accident becomes a common incident in Bangladesh. Some days ago, a tragic accident happened just before my eyes. A boy was crossing the road near Dhanmondi. A bus at full speed was coming from the opposite. When the boy saw the bus a few yards near him, he got puzzled and ran backward) The driver of the bus tried his best to save him, but he failed. The bus came on and knocked him down. I ran to the boy in the twinkling of an eye. I thought he was dead. Thank God, he was not. In a pool of blood, he lay senseless with the wounds received. I took him to the Medical College Hospital and Informed his parents of the accident.
বাংলা অর্থঃ সড়ক দুর্ঘটনা বাংলাদেশে একটি সাধারণ ঘটনা হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে। কিছু দিন আগে চোখের সামনে একটা মর্মান্তিক দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে গেল। ধানমন্ডির কাছে একটা ছেলে রাস্তা পার হচ্ছিল। উল্টোদিক থেকে পূর্ণ গতিতে একটি বাস আসছিল। ছেলেটি তার কাছে থেকে কয়েক গজ দূরে বাসটিকে দেখে হতবাক হয়ে পিছনের দিকে দৌড়ে যায়) বাসের চালক তাকে বাঁচানোর জন্য যথাসাধ্য চেষ্টা করে, কিন্তু সে ব্যর্থ হয়। বাস এসে তাকে নামিয়ে দিল। আমি চোখের পলকে ছেলেটির কাছে ছুটে গেলাম। আমি চিন্তা করেছিলাম সে মৃত। ঈশ্বরকে ধন্যবাদ, তিনি ছিলেন না। রক্তের পুকুরে সে প্রাপ্ত ক্ষত নিয়ে অজ্ঞান হয়ে পড়েছিল। আমি তাকে মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাই এবং তার বাবা-মাকে দুর্ঘটনার কথা জানাই।
