A Journey By Train Paragraph
A journey by train is getting popular in our country. Recently I have made a journey by train. It was full of excitement and thrills. Perhaps I will never forget it. During our last winter vacation, my eldest uncle sent me an email. In the mail, he asked me to visit him. I was very excited to spend a few days there because my school was closed. My uncle then worked at Jessore. So, I decided to go there by train. It was on 26 December. I got up early in the morning. I took my breakfast. My mother gave me some snacks which I kept in my traveling bag. My sister Ruby who is two years senior than me gave me a book to read on the train. Then I hired a rickshaw and went to the rail station. I reached there at around 9.45 in the morning. It was Ishwardy rail station. It was crowded with people of different trades and professions. I noticed that there were many ticket counters for different trains. I bought a ticket for the Sunderban Express. It was a 10.15 train and it reached the station at 10.13. I got on the train. The train started at 10.20. All passengers looked very cheerful. At first, it was moving at a slow speed. Suddenly I noticed that it was making a loud noise and we were on the Hardinge Bridge. It is the oldest iron bridge in our country. I could also see the Lalon Shah Bridge just parallel to the Hardinge Bridge. The bridge connected Pabna and Kushtia Districts. It was around 11 o’clock and the train was running at a high speed. I could see through the window that all trees along the rail track seemed to go backward rapidly. It was amazing. We were leaving trees, plants, rivers, ponds, green fields, cattle, villages, houses, and human beings behind us. It stopped at Veramara, Alamdanga only for a few minutes. It reached Jessore at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. When I got off the train found that my uncle was waiting there. It was a boundless joy for me to see my uncle. A journey by train is really a blessing of the modern transportation system. If you get on it, you will feel safe and sound.
বাংলা অর্থঃ ট্রেনে ভ্রমণ আমাদের দেশে জনপ্রিয় হয়ে উঠছে। সম্প্রতি ট্রেনে যাত্রা করেছি। এটি উত্তেজনা এবং রোমাঞ্চে পূর্ণ ছিল। হয়ত কখনো ভুলতে পারব না। আমাদের গত শীতকালীন ছুটির সময়, আমার বড় চাচা আমাকে একটি ইমেল পাঠিয়েছিলেন। মেইলে, তিনি আমাকে তার সাথে দেখা করতে বলেছিলেন। আমার স্কুল বন্ধ থাকায় আমি সেখানে কয়েক দিন কাটাতে খুব উত্তেজিত ছিলাম। আমার মামা তখন যশোরে চাকরি করতেন। তাই, আমি ট্রেনে সেখানে যাওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি। এটি ছিল 26 ডিসেম্বর। খুব ভোরে উঠলাম। আমি আমার নাস্তা নিলাম. আমার মা আমাকে কিছু স্ন্যাকস দিয়েছিলেন যা আমি আমার ট্রাভেলিং ব্যাগে রেখেছিলাম। আমার বোন রুবি যে আমার থেকে দুই বছরের সিনিয়র আমাকে ট্রেনে পড়ার জন্য একটি বই দিয়েছে। তারপর একটা রিকশা ভাড়া করে রেলস্টেশনে গেলাম। সকাল ৯টা ৪৫ মিনিটে সেখানে পৌঁছলাম। এটা ছিল ঈশ্বরদী রেলস্টেশন। এতে বিভিন্ন পেশা ও পেশার মানুষের ভিড় ছিল। আমি লক্ষ্য করেছি যে বিভিন্ন ট্রেনের জন্য অনেক টিকিট কাউন্টার রয়েছে। সুন্দরবন এক্সপ্রেসের টিকিট কিনলাম। এটি একটি 10.15 ট্রেন ছিল এবং এটি 10.13 এ স্টেশনে পৌঁছেছিল। ট্রেনে উঠলাম। ট্রেন 10.20 এ শুরু হয়েছিল। সব যাত্রীকে খুব উৎফুল্ল দেখাচ্ছিল। প্রথমে এটি ধীর গতিতে চলছিল। হঠাৎ আমি লক্ষ্য করলাম যে এটি একটি বিকট শব্দ করছে এবং আমরা হার্ডিঞ্জ ব্রিজের উপর ছিলাম। এটি আমাদের দেশের প্রাচীনতম লোহার সেতু। হার্ডিঞ্জ ব্রিজের সমান্তরালে লালন শাহ সেতুও দেখতে পেলাম। সেতুটি পাবনা ও কুষ্টিয়া জেলাকে সংযুক্ত করেছে। তখন প্রায় 11টা বাজে এবং ট্রেনটি প্রচণ্ড গতিতে চলছিল। আমি জানালা দিয়ে দেখতে পাচ্ছিলাম যে রেলের ট্র্যাক বরাবর সমস্ত গাছ দ্রুত পিছিয়ে যাচ্ছে। এটি ছিল বিস্ময়কর. গাছপালা, নদী, পুকুর, সবুজ মাঠ, গবাদিপশু, গ্রাম, বাড়িঘর, মানুষ রেখে যাচ্ছিলাম। ভেরামারা, আলমডাঙ্গায় এটি কয়েক মিনিটের জন্য থামল। বিকেল ৪টায় যশোরে পৌঁছায়। ট্রেন থেকে নেমে দেখি চাচা সেখানে অপেক্ষা করছেন। চাচাকে দেখে আমার জন্য ছিল সীমাহীন আনন্দ। ট্রেনে যাত্রা সত্যিই আধুনিক পরিবহন ব্যবস্থার আশীর্বাদ। আপনি এটি পেতে, আপনি নিরাপদ এবং সুস্থ বোধ করবে।
