The rose is a kind of flower. It is the loveliest of all flowers. It smells very sweet. It is called the queen of flowers. The rose has a number of soft petals. It grows on a thorny plant. Roses are of different kinds and colors. Some are red, some are white and some are a pink color. The roses of Iran are very famous. The red rose is very nice to look at. Rose water and attor are made from roses. Roses are used to decorate houses, cars, and offices on different occasions. So everybody like the rose. Nowadays, it grows plenty in Bangladesh.

বাংলা অর্থঃ গোলাপ এক ধরনের ফুল। এটি সব ফুলের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে সুন্দর। এটা খুব মিষ্টি গন্ধযুক্ত। একে ফুলের রানী বলা হয়। গোলাপের অনেকগুলো নরম পাপড়ি আছে। এটি একটি কাঁটাযুক্ত উদ্ভিদে বৃদ্ধি পায়। গোলাপ বিভিন্ন ধরণের এবং রঙের হয়। কোনোটা লাল, কোনোটা সাদা আবার কোনোটা গোলাপি রঙের। ইরানের গোলাপ খুব বিখ্যাত। লাল গোলাপ দেখতে খুব সুন্দর। গোলাপ জল এবং অ্যাটর গোলাপ থেকে তৈরি করা হয়। বিভিন্ন অনুষ্ঠানে বাড়ি, গাড়ি, অফিস সাজাতে গোলাপ ব্যবহার করা হয়। তাই সবাই গোলাপ পছন্দ করে। বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশে এটি প্রচুর জন্মে।
